Liputan6.com, Kediri - Petugas gabungan dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Kediri dan Loka POM di Kabupaten Kediri, Jawa Timur menemukan sejumlah jajanan mengandung boraks saat inspeksi di pasar kaget.

"Kami ambil dua titik. Di Jalan Hayam Wuruk kami ambil 20 sampel dan setelah kami uji ada satu positif diberi boraks," kata Kepala Loka POM di Kabupaten Kediri Joni Edrus Setiawan di Kediri, Rabu (6/4/2022), dilansir dari Antara.

Ia mengatakan, jajanan pasar itu sengaja diberi boraks agar lebih kenyal. Sedangkan untuk jajanan pasar lainnya masih aman, tidak ditemukan kandungan bahaya. Selain jajanan pasar, juga ada beragam lauk dan minuman dan nihil bahan berbahaya.

Selain di pasar kaget Jalan Hayam Wuruk, petugas juga melakukan pemeriksaan di pasar kaget yang berlokasi di Taman Sekartaji, Kota Kediri. Petugas mengambil sampel sebanyak 15, dan semuanya nihil mengandung bahan berbahaya.

Kepala Dinas Kesehatan Kota Kediri dokter Fauzan Adima mengatakan timnya juga sudah ke lapangan memberikan sosialisasi kepada para pedagang sekaligus investigasi.

"Kami sudah investigasi, kadang pedagang tidak tahu dapatnya dari mana. Kami lakukan pembinaan," kata dia.

Ia mengatakan, beberapa pedagang membeli bahan yang tidak bermerek. Hal itu diduga untuk menekan seminimal mungkin biaya produksi, sehingga membeli bahan dengan kualitas agak rendah.
